Partners and labels
Since 2008, this label has been committed to enhancing the level of service and hospitality in France, with roughly thirty other sites in the Val de Loire region and in partnership with the tourism bureau of Touraine. The Château des ducs de Bretagne is one of the first sites to receive the label in 2011.
Label Tourisme & Handicap
In 2011, the Château des ducs de Bretagne was awarded the Tourisme & Handicap label for being accessible to all four disabilities (motor, sight, hearing, mental). The Château is listed as one of the nation’s model sites for its capacity to host disabled guests.
La Loire à vélo
The castle is certified "Loire à vélo": a unique, already much-travelled itinerary and one that is accessible and makes for easy cycle holidays. It forms one of the finest cycle routes in France, an 800km “freewheeling cruise".
Accueil vélo (Cyclists welcome)
The castle is certified "Accueil Vélo" (Cyclists Welcome). It is a national mark guaranteeing a high quality of welcome and services for cyclists where you see the sign across France.
The Château was listed as an Historical Monument in 1862.
