The library-bookshop

With its innovative lay-out, the gift shop/bookstore showcases the museum’s major themes: the Château des ducs de Bretagne, Anne of Brittany, the Atlantic slave trade and colonial slavery, and more. It also offers a selection of works exploring current topics and, more broadly, the fight against discrimination.

The exhibitions are given pride of place, with a fine array of books and collectors’ items. Browse the shelves and discover items created in connection with the castle, publications by Les Éditions du Château, as well as in-depth works and new publications of reference. Literature, essays, documentaries, fine-art books, comics, manga, books for children, souvenirs… you’ll definitely find something to continue your trip once you’ve left the castle walls.
